California Humane Society is a nonprofit focused on saving the lives of homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. We expand adoption opportunities by bringing municipal shelter animals into the community through small, safe, weekly adoption events that complement shelter operations. Trained volunteers and local partnerships help connect adoptable animals with people who might never enter a shelter.
